Hi, I'm Captain Scott Wallace and I have been fishing the Texas Gulf Coast for over 40 years. I started fishing in Rockport when I was 10 years old. Since then I have been all over the coast from Louisiana to South Padre.
If I want to target a particular species of fish like Snook and Tarpon I can go to South Padre. If I'm looking for big Trout I go to the Corpus area like Baffin Bay and the Land Cut.
I love fishing with artificial lures and I offer instructional tips as well. I like to chase Redfish, Speckled Trout, and Flounder all year-round. I have a USCG Captains License and guide primarily out of Surfside and Corpus Christi, TX.
I offer a nice getaway charter package at the Rusty Hook Outfitters which is a brand new floating fishing cabin in 9 Mile Hole in Corpus Christi TX. I am a pro field staff member with the Blast and Cast Men's Ministries and have fished Troutmasters, The Galveston Redfish Series and numerous Redfish tournaments.
